Students,teachers,and whanau thank you all for coming. If you don't know who I am my name is 
Peara. I am here today to speak the truth and take you on a journey through my school years.

On my first day I was so nervous my heart suddenly stopped I was as stil as a statue. As I carried on walking water was dripping down my face and no it was not sweat YES I was that afraid and nervous, tears were pouring down my face. But fear turned to relief when I saw Elly was my teacher.

As the next year came by I was more excited than ever because my new teacher FIONA she was such a good teacher. The two years I spent in Fiona's class were really rewarding. The years flew by. I could have stayed in her class for another year,or more.

Year 3
Year three was pretty special because I won the junior axel cup of 2014 and Chris was my first ever male teacher In history Chris had really good ways of learning maths as It came to the end of the year it was pretty sad because Chris had to leave to teach in feliding 

Year 4 
Well year 4 is one of the best years of learning in my life I have come so far, Rosie is my teacher now and she is doing the best she can do I just wanna say thanks Rosie you inspired me to be in Poutokomanawa for the rest of my school years. My maori tikanga, Reo and manakitanga has improved beyond all my expectations

Ingredients:hot choco mix,whipped cream,choc sauce,milk.

Things you need basically just a mug,teaspoons and a kettle 

1.   You will start by scanning the kitchen for a mug and hot choclate mix you will need 2 teaspoons of the mix.

2.  Second you boil the kettle or jug and fetch the milk and pour that into the the mug with hot choc mix

3.   next you pour some hot water from the kettle into the mug once that is all mixed together it is ready to swirl the whipped cream on top 

4.  Last but sertertanaly not least chocalate sauce just zig-zag the choc sauce on to the whipped cream and there you have it your perfectly made hot chocalate

Mystery writing

My goals!!!

WALT write your own mystery

Success Criteria:

Make the story exciting - by adding juicy, descriptive words,
Plan - use a variety of planning tools, like mind maps and story mountains etc
Plot - you need to know what's happening next
Clues to make it a mystery
Problem - to be solved
Beginning - draw the reader in by setting the scene - crime scene
make sure it's in the right order,
Characters - investigators, culprit, (the person who committed the crime), suspects (people you may question about the crime that may have been involved)
need to be ordinary people
solve the mystery

My mystery:

"It was an ordinary day for most people, but for the Bedford family there was something going on fishy their house". So dad came out with all of his detective tools, Ella had never seen that side of dad before. Dad begins to see specks of cookie drops on the ground "splat" the cookies are so wet and soft, that when mum steped on one it split into pieces. As the Bedford family got closer they notice that there were foot prints and they were a small foot size. Ella was a bit worried and started to feel gality. But then just remembered that she had already had her cookie this morning so it wasn't her then they heard crunch and a munch aha it is... "The dog" the family says with confused faces the dog made crumbs that lead to the toilet now the cookies are flushed away. Gosh we better get this place cleaned up said Ella with a squeaky voice, mystery solved shouts dad.

How it works: there is a button on the side and it makes the snatcher to grab the missing dirty socks because it is in this little crack, and the circle on the bottom beeps when it finds the socks that's how it helps!!!

This is my writing about a myth that I came up with here you go!!!!

It was a beautiful summer morning and Lucia was playing in her backyard.  Lucia is a very fancy girl she is fussy with food and likes to sing but she is not the best at it. She was playing in her backyard when suddenly she discovered a tiny door that lead her to a 'Dream World' where what ever you think of comes to life. As she entered the dream world she noticed that the ground was made of candy floss, it was like pink and blue soft fluffy clouds. Lucia couldn't resist, she started picking candy off the road and it lead her to the fierce kings palace. As she approached the palace, she saw a crowd of people gathered in the palace court yard. They were listening to the king give his orders. The king didn't like strangers coming to Dream World and announced that all strangers would have to leave before sunset or they would be struck there FOREVER and imprisoned in the dungeon. When Lucia heard this she was RRRROOOOAARRRRing to get out and she wanted to go back home but the palace was so big that she could not find the way back. Time was ticking and Lucia wasn't happy. She searched and searched then finally, she found a door, she didn't no where it would lead her but she was desperate to find a way back to her mansion. She tried to open the door but it was locked. At that moment she remembered seeing some keys in the kings pocket, at that moment an idea popped into her head. She decided to sneak up to the king while he wasn't looking to take the keys from him. Once the king was not paying attention Lucia stealthily removed the keys, unlocked the to door to find the exit high way. Lucia was overwhelmed with excitement and knew that she would never go back to dream world again. She swept her hand across her head and said, "What an adventure".

WALT Solve “How many equal sets of ?” problems by reversing multiplication facts

Yesterday our I first problem was...
Rosie has 18 dresses and she wants to share them equally into 6 drawers. The children used the counters to work out how many dresses would be in each draw. Everyone chunked and checked which was great. They found out it was 3. I wrote down what the equation would look like:
18 ÷ 6 = 3
6 x 3 = 18

We carried on this activity today but this time we said that Jamie had 24 birds and he wanted to share them into 6 cages equally. Caid put 4 in each and said he knew that 18÷6=3 so he added one more counter to each cage to get 24. Logan and Jhaz both said that 24 was an even number so they wanted to start with an even number like 4. I wrote down what the equation would look like:

As I walk in to Bowlarama I'm surrounded by my family, this was my chance to show them that I can 
I literally had my game face on, as I was looking deeply into the bowling ball I wished my self good luck as the ball was rolling away. I closed my eyes and crossed my fingers hoping that the first bowl would go well but really it is was a disaster!!! I think the score was 7. But as the game carried on I finally got a winning strike. However, it didn't get me enough points to win but at the end of the day we were all happy. Before we went we played air hockey and that was what you call fun! We played a couple of other games and then it was time to say good bye and I stepped out of the door. I thought to myself I'm gonna miss this place.

Me and my Manu tuku tuku (kite)

I made this kite this is a maori kite in matariki people use the kites to get closer to the stars
